YolanDa Brown @ HMV Apollo 2012

I was extremely impressed and both had a great evening in Yolanda’s presence. “The concert made for an awesome and unforgettable  evening”.  Yolanda came on stage and the rest well lets just say “WAS PHENOMENAL”. Yolanda’s an incredible talent, her musicianship, her composure on stage, her skill is just awesome.
She’s no doubt an unquestionable God blessed, confident, well balanced, awesomely talented musician and a beautiful woman at that.  She has the potential to both become one of the great sax players and to inspire a new generation to learn to play her instrument.
Whilst sax playing is largely associated with jazz, Yolanda showed that it can span most musical genres.
Her band consisting of two keyboard players, a guitarist, bass player and drummer and three backing vocalists were superb and on this spectacular night was accompanied by the legendary Philharmonic Orchestra. They had lots of fun and clearly get on well together.
All in all, if you have not had the pleasure of seeing her in concert yet, buy a ticket, have an evening out in Yolanda’s company, you certainly won’t regret it. !!!!!!
