OCTOBER ALBUM REVIEWS

October 2010 is not a very busy month for music, but there are number of big-name artists dropping albums this fall. And while that’s definitely true, almost none of those albums come out in October. Faith Evans is the biggest name among October’s small crop of releases, followed by Bobby V. (the singer formerly known as Bobby Valentino), and some quasi-R&B albums that might not have made the list if pickings weren’t so slim. Although list for Halloween month is pretty thin, the good news is that November’s due to be a huge month for good new R&B music. For this month’s list, just look below.

BOBBY VALENTINO – FLY ON THE WALL

The fourth studio album by Bobby V., formerly known as Bobby Valentino, is expected out Oct. 12 via the EMI label, but rumor is that it may be pushed back to either November or early 2011. The album’s first single is ”Phone #,” featuring the rapper Plies.
